That's pretty awesome. The different planking, the bench, the old tug boats... well done.

What a love place for a holiday  lol

Von Lucky - Thank You!

Commissarmoody - Sadly, regular flights are cancelled due to the civil war. But UN flights depart at irregular intervalls from Lagos. After that it's only three days raft downriver through the most malaria infested place on earth.

Poiter50 - they were found in second hand shops. Probably parts of diecast car sets with a car, trailer and boat.

Here are a couple of pictures of the actual Blood River, once known as the lifenerve of the West African Republic.

I just made my own river (with crocs) but that was actually quite hard to do. You sollution looks simple but also simply stunning. Great idea and I really like the color of your river. good to see you don't have a blue river. My river is green/brown, I'll have it on my blog soon.

Thanks for sharing you scenery, lovely pictures, really nice set-up.

I love it- really rough and tough, but very colourful too. West African Republic looks like a great place for a campaign.

Love it, especially the shaky looking planked gangways. One thought, would it look more natural on the river sections if the riverbanks were rounded off slightly as opposed to being a sheer drop? Great stuff either way!
