Elite Miniatures 28mm Portuguese Line
« on: 21 April 2016, 01:09:01 AM »
Hi all
A beautiful late Autumn day here in the sunny Mangamahu Valley in the central North Island of New Zealand. Some pics of my first Napoleonic unit in over a year. The first of many I hope as I get my Nap-mojo back after a long hiatus.

Cheers

Look very nicely painted Brian.
Hurrah for more Portuguese !

To be honest still not sure about that unique Elite "style", but they do look dynamic.

Yes, Elite are very distinct.  I love them and the Connoisseur range that inspired them so I am happy as with them.

Hi Brian,

Splendid looking chaps!

I too have many "Elite Miniatures" in my collection so share your enthusiasm for them.

Nearly all my Peninsular war chaps are Elite.

Less of a fan of their cavalry though.

Thanks for sharing.

Cheers,

Paul

These look great Brian, and it's terrific to see you "back in the saddle".

Cheers for that. Glad to back into Napoleonics.  I was going to say that there are only so many Zulus you can paint.  But who am I kidding.

Never been much of a fan of Elite miniatures but yours are well painted.

The older I get the more I enjoy the more traditional sculpts and your paintwork sets them off nicely.
Humans? no thank you!
