They look terribly familiar, but I can't quite place them. How big are they?

Are they Nick Lund's work?
Gary, Glynis, and Alasdair (there are three of us, but we are too mean to have more than one login)

Are there any markings under the base at all?

Ditto. They are not the Grenadier Fantasy Warriors elves, but they certainly have some of the same... flavour...?

28mm scale, I don't think they are Nick Lunds work. I got them in a trade and the person I got them from doesn't remember where he got them. I like them and wouldn't mind getting more

Looks like a CC but its a guess I cant really read them and the picture probably dosen't help much

They look a bit like Grenadier markings. Copplestone's work, perhaps?

I've got a couple of old 90s catalogues; I'll have a rummage and see if I can ID them.

Bit blurred for me to make it out (old man's eyes) - any chance of slightly further back?

They are Harlequin/Black Tree Designs Wood Elves, OOP unfortunately.

Joe, are you sure? I was looking on the Lost mins wiki site http://www.miniatures-workshop.com/lostminiswiki/index.php?title=Wood_Elves_%28HM%29_%28Harlequin%29 and dont see them

I know they are not from their other range http://www.miniatures-workshop.com/lostminiswiki/index.php?title=Wood_Elves_%28FA%29_%28Harlequin%29 the archers looked very much like the 5th ed warhammer plastic ones

They may be Alternative Armies OOP. I have a set of five High Elves from them (not the "French" Elves they released later) and the sculpting style is quite similar, specially the faces.

I found these on a now defunct Spanish retail web site when deep Googling for pics of Harlequin LOTR.

(If someone wants to update the Lost Wiki with these and others from that site PM me ...)

Might be worth contacting Black Tree to see if they still have the moulds and are willing to give them a spin ...

Cheers!
