ID these minis please
« on: 24 April 2016, 09:41:22 AM »
The Medieval Adventures board is really NOT my expertise .

Could any one please help in identifying these minis for me I spotted while scouring the web this afternoon?

Thanks in advance.

Frank, the picture doesn't seem to be appearing at the moment?

Aha!
Yep, there they are...
Haven't got a clue what they are I'm afraid. They look a bit Blue Moon-ish, but the bases are wrong for that... Those are seriously chunky bases  :o

They are very nice but to me look more like chess pieces with those big bases

The sculpting style reminds me of old Ral Partha types, but not sure that I have seen any of these particular figures before.
The bases look like a chess set, but there are a lot of (different) females so not sure on that one either.
Gary, Glynis, and Alasdair (there are three of us, but we are too mean to have more than one login)

Ok I think I have answered my own question. That rarely happens....  :o

The broad with her hands on her hips appears at the bottom center labelled Mega 25mm. Mega Miniatures I assume?

Ring any bells now? Mega Miniatures deals as Johnny Borg Castings now - I wonder are these still available?

Thanks Lowtardog - Yup you are right - found 'em. Known as both the Royal Court (Turnkey) and King's Court (Mega).

Now, anyone know if these are still available?

Bit late to the party and a useless piece of information, but the hands on hips I'm sure someone painted up and used as a noble type  in a rogue trader style setting.
