Sheikh, rattle n roll
« on: May 04, 2016, 07:14:02 PM »
Hey guys
It's been awhile but things have been building along nicely with my 28mm modern collection in readiness for an 'imagination' campaign I will be running (probably solo..booo..hiss).
Anyway here is 'The Sheikh' with his advisor n bodyguards & close protection officers. Another 4*4 to arrive, it's being painted up in the workshop to his spec.
All ready to carry out shady deals n other exciting black market stuff.
All painted rather well I hope you agree by littleninjapainting.

Amazing figures! What a fascinating "period" as well. I have just ordered some figures from the Asssault Group similar to yours. The painting is amazing by the way!

Very nice looking models and really great paint job! I'll be buying some spectre models myself soon to use in my games and for my Blog.

I'm just waiting till they have all the models I want in stock so I can order everything at once instead of having to pay for shipping twice or more..

Please post more... :-*

Nice weathering. The two boxes on each front corner, what are they? Infrared and/or thermal cameras?

IED Jammers, although a near miss would still mess up a Panther.

Your figures are amazing! Spectre seem like a very interesting company and I will order from them soon. I would be very interested to know any details of your campaign as I too will be embarking on a solo campaign in this scale and era.
So far I have Danger Close and Bolt action as potential rulesets, as for the campaign rules I have lots of scenarios and may just use the Solo Wargaming book-sorry forgot the author!

Excellent pj's and looking forward to reading more about your solo campaign. As I play a fair bit (but not all) of games solo, I mainly use Two Hour Wargames rulesets like Chain Reaction, All Things Zombie: Final Fadeout, Six Gun Sound and 5150: New Beginnings and mix and match, that way I can cover almost any period :).
