SAGA - Scots
« on: May 12, 2016, 02:32:38 PM »
So you hear stories about people who accidently spray their models with some random color instead of a clear coat... but you never think it could happen to you.

I'm here to tell you that it can happen to you.  I did this about 2 years ago and was so disappointed, I haven't hardly played SAGA since and when I have it was with a borrowed army.

Well, I finally got around to repainting these guys and think they turned out pretty decently.

I like the look of the sculpts on these models and while I'm not a great painter, these do look nice on the table.

More pictures of my Scots can be found on my blog.  http://gamingandshooting.blogspot.com/2016/05/scots-for-saga.html

They look great!

I've not sprayed anything with the wrong colour (yet), but I have had figures nearly ruined by stupid frosting from spray varnish.

W&N artists matt varnish (brush on) for me now...

It was the 7 models in the first picture.  It was just one pass with the spray and I knew right away I had made a terrible mistake.  Some got a full dose in the face and others just had a little splatter.
