I believe they're early Bob Murch sculpts, (who now does Pulp Figures).

Didn't I read somewhere that Bob Murch sculpted some of the early RAFM range ?

Looking at those nicely painted figures brought to mind that Cthulhu investigator figures need to be 3 pose / figure sets. The typical investigator pose, then a pose after reading to many arcane books or met one to many creatures in the underground lairs, and finaly, perhaps their deceased / zombified remains?
