Bloody Hell, Alex  :-*
Your entries have been an object lesson, not just in brilliant painting, storytelling and photography. But also in how a whole range of different genres can be brought together to brilliant effect, and that you can jump from Perry C12th pilgrims one week to Warhammer 40K the next, and that one's interests can cross all aspects of the wargaming, modelling and painting hobby. You are indeed, not only the father of Lead Adventure Forum, you are its wide-ranging, omnivorous, inclusive ethos, brought to life!  ;)

Uncle Mike, you have raised your game for this one too, I think. Really excellent work. But, well, you know... We've all been there... Against Alex in the form of his life and not pulling his punches - no-one stands a chance. he is, quite rightly, the master  8)

I had a plan... :'(
Seriously thou, after being a bit sad for my hard effort I had a good look at that entry. It is superb! I am amazed at the detail of everything and all the stuff crammed into this entry, but mostly I am always in awe of how well you take a photo. This is the best one you have done yet IMHO...but I still had to vote for myself...but I almost didn't this time.  ;)

Now THAT is great praise indeed! Ha, ha... lol

I agree with all the praise for Alex's undefeated run through LPL 10. The kind note and encouraging praise each round in receipt of my photos has been appreciated, too. True gentleman and master painter...! Congrats, Alex, to your well-deserved victory!!!

I voted for the Prof, of course, but Uncle Mike; I love how the robot's head is cut off in your photo, as if he's so big there's no way to see all of him at once.  Nice effect.

Wow. Just wow.

Both great entries and I'd venture Mars' Attacks would beat many other entries this round, but Space Hulk is just wow.

Cheers, gentlemen! @Uncle Mike - my compliments to your scene, full of live and dynamism! This giant robot and also particualary this marvellous explosion are very impressive and I really would like to know how you did make that, looks very realistic!

My shame is now complete!  :'( The explosion is a piece created by Darth James, which he was kind enough to let me use. No doubt he will explain how it was built. Also, the robot has no head...I didn't finish the pilot as I wasn't sure I would actually use it for Mars Attacks and thought I should keep it open for a large brain or some such...but that is why the picture ends there...now you all know!!! The shame... ;)

No worries. It was a clever idea to still use the robot and crop the picture without the missing head and the explosion is just one part of a great photo!!

Alex, what kind of scenery did you use here? All very impressive, especially the central piece. And what is at the bottom, the ground looks kind of wet or shiny at the left figures' bases?  ???
