Let's play ball! - New Match Report 1st July
« on: 21 May 2016, 08:44:35 AM »
"the Reavers can't quite get there and finish the run to the end zone, Jim. But they are doing their best to put as many Rippers on the ground as they can before the final whistle blows."

"Put them on the ground and, in the best tradition of the game, stamp on their nads, Bob."

My first game of Bloodbowl in 20 years! Still as good as ever.

Fantastic!  :D

I love Blood Bowl! I think it's one of the most perfect tabletop games out there. It's the only game to have a load of us screaming at the events on the board and to have us on the edge of our seats for the final outcome!

Sweet mini's
Love the bright colours you get to paint in BB.
Unfortunatly during my last game my skaven got utterly destroyed with three dead rats.
Was a while ago, but this is one of the many games I intend to play more.....

Still have a norse team converted and a bits for a dark elf team....
1st world problems.

It really is astonishing how well it plays. And yes, painting a team is a fab, fun project.

I confess that I greatly enjoy everything about BB except the actual game itself!

However, I really like your team - I think they look fantastic! :D

22 years ago, I bought a bloodbowl team.

Today I finished painting them. Is that a record or can anyone beat it?

More pictures on the blog and a match report to follow.

Hmmm.... I think I might beat you. My DE team should be at least 18 years from purchase, probably 19 or 20. BUT I still haven't painted them! Only one solitary one is done.
Nice choice of colours  8) 8) 8)

I think I bought mine 21 years ago and they're still unpainted. Nice job on them.

"Oh my word, Bob look at the Rippers go; they're steamrollering into the Reivers like... Well, like a steamroller over a halfling garden party. Oh look at that - the Rippers are gathering around the fallen players and - I can't watch!"

"You don't have to watch, you can hear the screams from here. Definitely Soprano now as well, Jim."

Another great match which answers the question: what happens if you get a professional rugby player to play Bloodbowl? The answer is - carnage.
