What about the plates?  Would Ecto-2 make sense? or would it be a regular number?

I feel sooooo pedantic even raising that. Rest assured I was thinking of saving you potential hassle!

I Googled Ecto 2 and apparently it was a gyrocopter or something in the Real Ghostbusters cartoon and is a motorcycle in the new movie. No particular number suggests itself for a UK Ecto vehicle but I'd guess Goon's comment makes sense.

Didn't think the UK did vanity plates, but apparently they do, although with limitations:

To be honest I've no issue with it just saying Ecto 2 or 3 or whatever. After all the reality of a UK number plate being feasible probably isn't a big deal considering it's attached to a vehicle carrying people who catch ghosts for a living!

I think the only limitation for UK plates is the 7 character limit.  So four characters followed by three.

ECTO is easy... the last three digits could be a number or something clever if it comes around to me. 
It could be: ECTO TWO or GHST ONE
