He looks cool Nic and quite scary!  :o

I agree with Richard that the Outpost figures aren't the best, but I think they are the only real source of highwaymen and greatcoats out there.

Regardless they really work for your project.

Yep, the choice is very limited, I can't find any other suitable mounted C18thfigures. Without completely remodelling  or sculpting from scratch, these were the only real option.

Tortured, marooned and left to die on a deserted island by Captain Clegg/Dr Syn, the Mulato was rescued by the Royal Navy.  Armed with a harpoon he seeks revenge on Dr Syn.

He has come out really well.
Lovely conversion, that harpoon is the nuts, topped off with a great bit of colouring-in.
You should be proud of him.

Excellent! In the book he has his tongue cut out by Clegg's Mohican henchman, maybe an idea for a crossover game somewhere 8)

The Reverend Dr Christopher Syn takes centre stage

A Redoubt Miniatures figure.

I really enjoyed painting him, a simple enough figure to paint, but lots of character in the sculpt. Just what I was looking for to portray the good Dr... :)
