Our local gaming convention is in a couple of weeks.

I am running several, multiplayer, linked games of Strange Aeons using pre-generated lists.

Official flyer is below, link to the convention website is here: Texicon

Yea... I have finished the last of the figures I got for my games at Texicon.

Hope to see you there!

All the 4 story lines and their scenarios look like a good set of fun games.  Hope all participants have fun and you have a full house with observers in the bleachers.

Friday we had 6 players in 3 games.  More Strange Aeons again tomorrow evening.  I have room for 8 players Sunday.

I will post pictures when I recover sometime next week.

I must be getting old, this convention is wearing me out...

Would still love to see those pictures!

So, I have a bit of an odd problem in that it is rare that I can ever run a skirmish game with just two players. We almost always have at least three and sometimes four or five players. Any guidance on how to run Strange Aeons with more than two players? Curious how you did it at the con...

Thanks!

Joe

Well, we had another go at Strange Aeons after a long spell of not...    For me I had a bit of change of house, spouse and life...long, long over due!   :D

BUT, our local gang is back "into" Strange Aeons" and we tossed dice to about 6-8 games this last weekend.  I was quite busy GMing them all (did not play); but one of my mates took pictures and while this was not at the Texicon convention...  I will see if I can get them.

I used the same lists from last year to save time and get into the game quickly.  I am glad I did, everyone was a bit rusty and it really helped get the feel of the game again.  Next time we start up, we are going to do it proper with a campaign and I get to play too (yeeeha!)

We even put the templates and flip books to use that Uncle Mike sent back to Texas with Steve (my pal with the pics).

Thanks Uncle Mike we do love your freaky game down here!
