Seems a very nice game.
From what manufacturer are the Compagnies Franches de la Marine?
Redoubt, Blue moon?

Great pics indeed, we have not taken to M&T, using modified Astounding Tales instead, I think our next outing will be with SP2 though.

Interesting, what didn't you like about the rules?

Give them a go, they won't disappoint - we're having some good games with them.

Okay I'm persuaded. Rules ordered, now just need to sort out the figures. May I ask what you used for the French in tricorne (the chaps in blue).

Edit: Just realised they're not French. Much to learn.

Wonderful battle report.
What not to like,
Finely painted figures, great terrain,
great friends to play with.
Well two out of three isn't bad. ;)

They're Galloping Major Provincial troops.

The Rangers, Indians, French Militia and Provincials are Galloping Major. The French regulars, French marines and British regulars are Redoubt Miniatures.

Galloping Major are absolutely gorgeous figures. The provincials are probably my favourite of the sculpts so far. They have British Regulars on the workbench at present and they look lovely ;D

I have a unit of provincials which are superb minis, its worth getting their militia too as they are even better and some could double for your west country games too
