Thanks Fred the battles include the major engagements on the Serbian front in the first few days of the invasion centering on Mt Cer. the Galician battles cover the battle of Komarow, Krasnik and Gnila Lipa. I picked actions that either side could win so not all the actions were worth while.
The book is based on Great War Spearhead II so they are normally Division level and above. Most of the actions in Summer Harvest involved 2 to 4 Divisions in total some a bit smaller some a bit larger. there is one action - Gnila Lipa where you can join the tables and forces together and have about 8 divisions total on the table.
A regular Austrian or Russian division has 4 regiments each with 12 to 16 infantry stand plus an hq and MG. Add to that 4 to 7 artillery batteries and some cavalry and engineers and there you have a generic idea of forces size. Roughly 64 Infantry stands, 4 MG stands, 5 HQ stand (1 div and 4 regt) 2 - 4 Cavalry stands, 2 - 4 Engineer stands and 4 to 7 stands of artillery.
Hope that answers the questions Fred?
