I love the fact that as a reenactor, and a wargamer, I get to see images like those posted by Rumacara posted in the below quoted post... Those guys in the US 1st Rifles green frocks are friends and fellow reenactors. In fact, I am fairly sure I am standing just out of frame with my unit in one of those photos (It's on top of the hill in the "American military camp" at the Battle of Mississinewa reenactment event in Indiana, USA).  lol

Hope these are of any use.
pm me if you need more.

Michaelsbagley sorry to post those photos.
I usually search for reenactors photos for painting ideas and no other intention was wanted.
If you want me to delete them just say.

Yes, both happy to see the images, and amused by their use as references. (Because those are very good reenacted who I know have researched and put a great deal of effort into making their impressions).

I always expect Napoleon in Russia is post titled  War of 1812 - shame on me..

But this time it was an opportunity to see reali eye candy in realy exotic period for me. Especialy the colors and the  flags are great.

"Those are Regulars, By God!"

New additions to the War of 1812 project with more on the way. Now it's the start of 25th Regiment from Scotts Brigade in their fine grey coats.

You would think id be bored of painting grey with all they bloody Covenanters i have done :)

Canadian Voltigeurs for the War of 1812. These are for my British/Canadian Force. I doubt ill paint anything else Canadian now as the rest of the Force will be British so that i can use them for other Theatres.
