28mm Lada Riva?

Does anyone know where one could be found for a decent price? An even better question might be, are they common in the Middle East?

How firmly set are you on a Lada Riva?  This is what I did with Vladimir Trunkov, from the Pixar Cars diecast toy:





Vladimir is a Zaporozhets, not a Lada...

As for the availability Ladas (or any other vehicle) in the Middle East, I have no idea!

I think they still make Rivas, under licence, in Egypt. No idea if they export them.

Probably the closest you will find is something in 1/43. There's bound to be a Russian diecast out there. Personally i think 1/43 is far too big for 28mm but if you really want one, that's likely to be your best option.

The Disney-Pixar Trunkov is a good proxy. I've got one of my own and it's a good fit with 28mm.

Indeed. Try ebay. There are a number of sellers there that have a huge variaty. ';-)

Soviet cars sold in large numbers in the Middle Eastern countries, which have been oriented to cooperation with the USSR ...









This "Lada" model can be purchased in Russia at the scale 1/60, but it is a bit bit small.
