Thanks for all the kind comments, I enjoyed painting these figures. They are lovely sculpts full of character. I painted them for my mate Simon who has a massive Zulu War collection that sometimes he shows off on this very forum (hint hint) lol.

I'm the very lucky owner of the fabulous 'Silver Whistle' collection, the best photos of which are still to be seen on Pat Smith's blog of the same name, from which I've borrowed the Isandlwana photo. I've added a few (OK, c.100) more Zulus and Jeff has done some sterling work for me, including the Witts in the other attached photo..

You lucky bleeder. That collection is what inspired me when I was painting AZW.

OP - The Frontier Light Horse are superb.
