That's a good repaint job. He'd have a lot of uses in different games.

That's beautiful work, Major.

If you don't mind me asking, did you have to do anything special to prepare him for painting? I've been debating getting one of those Golden Age Batman Heroclix from the latest set and re-doing him in the right colors, myself. Would appreciate any pointers you might have!

Oh I like that!  :-*

I just landed one of these recently, and I was wondering how they would paint up - very nicely, apparently.

They are a bit larger than regular 28s aren't they?

Bob -

I really think it depends upon the casting and the sculpt. I've got a Black Adam fig and a Bizzaro fig that are just about right for 28mm, but the Harley Quinn, for example, is pretty small compared to some of my other 28s. I think it's sort of a luck of the draw kind of thing.
The latest sculpts are getting better and better, though. You could tell Wiz Kids knew they had to do something to improve sales.

Yeah, you're right Doc, I grabbed a few of the Batman ones a few weeks back and some of them are lovely sculpts, (Bats, Robin, Ra'as Al Ghul and a few others) but one or two look like utter crap.

Talia is a giant freak with no neck, and looks like a man in a wig. Not exactly what I expected from reading the comics.  lol

Looks great. I keep on grabbing these up for cheap. My superhero army is getting bigger!! I agree the early sculpts are a bit rubbish but the later ones are very good
