Spectre Miniatures size vs other 28mm modern
« on: July 07, 2016, 03:38:43 PM »
Does anyone know or have pictures showing the sizes of Spectre Miniatures compared to other brands? I already have a lot of TAG, Eureka, Empress and some Mongrel, but like what I see of the Spectre line.

Any help would, well help... ;)

i dont have a pic but i have lots of Spectre, Eureka & Empress moderns & they all look fine alongside one another. After all a bit of size disparity is realistic n allows for those of short stature to fight alongside their taller brethren, just like real life  :D

The only real difference I noticed was the size of the firearms on the miniatures themselves. Whereas the Empress miniatures have a medium sized gun (this is simplifying it) the Spectre miniatures are slimmer and easier bent. I bought an African boss and the tip of his AK snapped off without a lot of pressure.

Great miniatures though!

Thank everyone, I figured they would be about the same. Nimrod, I can't see the picture, I get an X. Most likely my issue. ;D

I have them all mixed in, they are fine to go, weapons, are the only really difference and its not such an issue. Spectre vary quite a bit size and heft as do some empress militia which for me is good rather than bad. I will get a pic up tonite

Perhaps there is something with google photos where picture is located here is a direct link to it: https://goo.gl/photos/8fa2e34nuXraKgsh9

Thanks Nimrod, that did the trick. :)

Siam Tiger: Thanks, great photo, Spectre seem a bit taller, but with my old eyes that's a good thing.

Lowtardog: I don't mind the weapons being more "real scale." I blame fantasy figures for the big guns, hands and feet on figures. The Empress weapons are smaller on most of the figs I have, so this shouldn't be a big deal.

Dangerdaz: Thanks, I mainly have Empress and Eureka figs also, looking forward to some Spectre figs and their rule book.

BigSean: Thanks for the heads up, I broke off the end of a gun from an Empress model just yesterday, so I'll watch it on the Spectre figs.
