Fantastic Zombies.  8)
No doubt Tactica looks to be a must see event.  :P
Definately worth a weekend in Hamburg. I only have to convince Mrs Overlord I'm going for a wargame show. ::)

2 new guys:

First try with the 3 pot foundry skin colors, which (I think) look pretty crappy. But there's not time to repaint, so we'll move on...

btw: The pic is so bright because I use 2 daylight bulbs on my workdesk :)

Well... I wouldn't quite use those words.  The figures themselves are excellent!

I haven't figured out how to "fix" the foundry skin triad, but I only use the base and the shade colors.  The two give a reasonable finish.  The light seems to throw everything off.  Perhaps both the shade and the light are a bit too much.  Dunno...

Hey Knoxi....
your secret project isnt about Bill and Ted finding a secret Führerbunker underneath the streets of Berlin and encounter Nazi zombies eh ?

Some of the Foundry Triads are not very well balanced - I have mixed some of them to have 5 shades instead of 3 (usually just a 50/50 mix of the darker shade with the lighter) - but I haven't tried out the caucasian flesh tones.

I use GW Bestial Brown mixed with Dwarf Flesh, then Dwarf Flesh, then a mix of Dwarf Flesh and Elf Flesh, nd somtimes last highlight with Elf Flesh, and it gives a fairly OK result for caucasians.

I THINK that maybe the Foundry flesh would benefit from a tiny bit of reddish brown mixed into all the shades, but, as I said, I have not tried that particular triad.

And your paintjob is OK, I wouldn't mind ending up with that result  ;)

That is exactly what I thougt, too. Tonight, I will use a darker (red-brown) base color, I think that'll be much better and give more depth.

Gods, I hope I can visit the tactica this year. A visit to the UK might get in the way, but I need to see these beauties up close. The trousers of the guy with the red hat are a riot!

Great jeans. You've captured the feel perfectly. Did you drybrush them to achieve that?

Jeans is Vallejo Field Blue, mixed with black and white. No drybrushing.
