Very cool, who makes the Spanish?
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

Typical, I post the report and everyone like my opponent's models
I don't know why I bother sometimes *mumble, grumble*
 lol

The Spanish were James' models. He did tell me some of the makes, but I'm not sure. Gripping Beast and maybe some Crusader? Hopefully he'll be along shortly and enlighten us.

Always good to see another OGAM game, I've been building up an army for a while now, but got distracted by other projects.

Aint that always the way?
These only got to this stage because my smallest boy wanted to play. He then promptly lost interest after one game.

TBH I find the background a little puzzling - why are these random pantheons having a ruck? It makes more sense within cultures IMO - so Hermes v Poseidon or Thor v Odin.
Then I remember I'm trying to make sense of a game with gods, monsters and heroes in it and just get on and play. :D

Its a very jolly game and good fun to play and you can rope together a force from existing models fairly easily - James' force was mostly his Ancient Spanish with a giant God model thrown in

I always imagine it being a bit like the old Terry Pratchett book ' Small.Gods'.

Sorry, very late to reply to this one! The Greeks were super paint jobs but they didn't last too long so I think the Spanish got most of the pics. They're a real mix of Crusader, GB, Foundry, Newline, A&A and I think Essex as well - I like variety.
It was great fun to get them out on the table again and looking forward to doing more soon.

Makes me laugh too! I think it's because Tom has managed to write what everyone thinks but doesn't say...

Having remembered how much I enjoyed painting the Crusader Ancient Spanish, I have been having a serious look at getting a unit of their Celtiberians- nice models!

Super battle report and great minis. OGAM is sitting on my bookshelf, I suppose I should read through it one of these days...
You go to war with the figures you have, not the figures you wish you had!
