Maximilian [finished]
« on: 25 January 2009, 09:07:44 PM »
Hi,

this is the unmanned floating device Maximilian. It is equipped with a huge boiler on the back, which provides enough steam to float for about 4,5 hours. This configuration is armed with a machine gun and a claw. With its powerful main jet it floats up to 3 meters over the ground and the 4 smaller jets maneuver it in every direction. A too complicated to explain gyrodevice stabilizes this about 1 ton heavy machine in the air. Attack speed is up to 40 km/h.

Very nice, and more plausible, if I dare say so. I´d suggest a manipulator/claw for the left arm - why did you take off the hand from the first pic? Looked nice, although some plastic rod for joints wouldn´t do any harm.

Great work on Maximilian!  I'd have the left arm end in a nozzil that re-directs steam from the back boiler for a close ranged defense weapon.

That's awesome, as always. What about a drill on the other arm for fighting Land Ironclads and the like?
I told you so. You damned fools.
