I would suggest, in order to protect the dignity of the elderly and to prevent any of them from making a fool of himself in public forums, that all the Andrews should merge their operations: They could name the new conglomerate Andrews' [note the plural] Marvelous Miniatures Emporium.

I would also suggest special deals for older folks:

Today only! Select items up to 0% off!

or

Five minis for £10, ten for only £20!
I was talking aloud to myself. A habit of the old: they choose the wisest person present to speak to; the long explanations needed by the young are wearying.

We're almost to run out of Solo Decks, but we should have more back in stock soon.

Pre-Order discount is still good through the 10th of Aug.

Great, the BoB book is definitely on the list. I have a bunch of ideas for it already.

The next book is Tomb of the Serpent (October release) and I think it has some significant Lovecraftian moments.  ;)

After that, I am already working on The Lost World of Lemuria. It will be a classic Undersea Kingdom style adventure.

After that, I am leaning towards doing the Back of Beyond campaign. I am currently call it The Gold Train.

@d phipps - shouldn't the title be "the gold train of something" just to be consistent as well as more pulpy sounding.  Now I really have to consider a second job.

How about

The Gold Train from Illyria

for starters?

Or

The Gold Train from Bithynia

both ancient and honourable names of regions in tumult on the periphery of  BOB,

Cool ideas, Valerik. Currently we're leaning towards a Trans-Siberian Railway connection.  ;)

Cool ideas, Valerik. Currently we're leaning towards a Trans-Siberian Railway connection.

See, right there's the problem Dave...

Trans-Siberian Railway was built across the roof of Russia, deliberately avoiding existing communities.
A one track iron conduit from A to B much like a limited access toll highway through the country.

As in NO connections, other than to itself...

As late as '74 my buddy Karl spent TWO DAYS on a siding as the hospital trains from the East lumbered by headed for hospitals in habitable parts of Russia, spawned by Sino-Soviet 'Border Incidents'...  48 hours sitting still, all the blinds drawn and nobody seated on the mainline side of the cars, armed guards enforcing the proscriptions.  That's a LOT of casualties.  & proof the entire road still wasn't double tracked.  I'm not sure it is now, even today.

All of which is a roundabout way of saying the Trans-Siberian is it's own playing field.
& it takes a train to play, armoured or otherwise...
ALL your action must take place along it, little consequential external input or opportunity exists.

In practical terms a Zeppelin, or  cargo freighter, have more believable outside intervention potential than The Trans-Siberian Railway, where any viable force MUST arrive from one end of the tracks, or the other...

Consider instead the Trans-Caspian Railway, much close the the action, interfaces with diverse communities, cultures, and conditions. Poor roads, primitive airfields, ferry boats, gunboats, and PEOPLE!!  A wealth of Pulp Possibility.

The fluidity of Pulp, it's easy accessibility, and satisfying potential are all rooted in the believable, the achievable, the possible.  Stifle all that along a thin ribbon of iron laid through the wilderness "between Nowhere and Not Much Else" at your Peril Sir!!

Ah yes, Trans-Caspian would be fun too.

Sometimes I just get the hankering for something a bit further east. With branches into Korea, Mongolia, and Manchukuo. I think there's plenty of opportunity for adventure. Chinese warlords, Mongolian bandits, Imperial Japanese soldiers, Russian mercenaries, Koreans, and a sprinkling of sky pirates... ayup, sounds tasty!  :D

And although the adventure will be linked to a missing secret treasure train, the area of play will be much much broader than riding the rails.

Anyhoo, that will all have to wait. First, we're off to Egypt...

AND then to Lemuria...

More to come......

That's a magnificent cover illustration on the Lemuria book... who's the artist?
