Ghosts of Morghast--testing out the Pulp Alley Horror deck
« on: August 08, 2016, 04:52:27 AM »

We were all anxious to try out the new Horror cards from Pulp Alley. In order to make sure we all had an equivalent experience (Science!) Rags set up a scenario with 6 minor plot points which required a horror check on contact, but were otherwise passive. Then after a character had a minor plot point they could proceed to the major. Thus no one had to take the Dungeon Master role. Anyway, it was a great game--we're all stoked.

In addition to all being stoked, some of us were blindly panicked, mentally unbalanced, and suffered from lapses of reason.  If this already sounds like your gaming group, you probably have some idea what the Horror Deck will do for your Pulp Alley sessions.  The new Pulp Alley Horror Deck will fill your head with crazy colors and give your games the fascinating extra dimensions of terror and insanity, and who doesn't want that for their heavily armed characters?
Well worth picking up.

Looks like you had a great game. I haven't tried my Horror Deck yet but it looks like fun.
