Republican infantry are very handy, suitable for International Brigades as well.

Not so sure on the Italians though, not my cup of tea.

Lovely Republicans but not a big fan of the Italians, the character makes it hard to field a mortar battery (or are there other variants available?)

Wonderful figures as always. 

But yes I also have to ponder the utility of what is a 'character pack' for a mortar crew; are you likely to buy more than one? The Republican Infantry on the other hand are a far more useful and welcome addition.
