« on: 08 August 2016, 05:11:57 PM »
Thought I would share these with you, my French peninsular collection is growing slowly, who says you cant paint detail on 6mm  :D

Apologies for the over exposure, still getting to grips with photographing....... well anything!!

Very nice.

Re photography, try using a lighter background, so that you camera metering doesn't over-expose the foreground by metering against the large background area (I am assuming that the picture is cropped).

Thanks for the tip, will give that a try next time, I did try white at one point but found it hard to get the balance right. Definitely a science in itself

Lovely work! Have been mulling over getting back into Napoleonic with a whole load of 6mm Adlers and I think you've now persuaded me. I don't wan't to do battalion basing as you lose the formations which are so important to Napoleonic wargaming. I instead want company bases: 6x6 figures for the French. I was worried they might be too small and fiddly. But seeing as you've done it...!
