Got my copy of the rules yesterday. Gorgeous book...and the rules seem like a lot of fun! And for the first time, I actually have enough figs to field a force for a new set of rules straight away!

More pics on the blog here. I shall hopefully be getting my first game in next week!

I like your figures.
Look forward to reading about your game.
As of now I am on the fence about purchasing Congo.

Source of those bloody big trees in your photo here?  Aquarium shop, maybe?  Nice looking figures.

Yep...the trees are aquarium decorations. They were made by Europet Bernina but sold through Amazon and were called aquarium Bonsai trees. Unfortunately, the smaller ones no longer seem to be available...I've looked everywhere. They were great as they cost £7 or £8 each. Last time I checked the big one was still available but cost more than double what I paid for it a couple of years ago. Sorry.
