It worked for me too, and I just added some more figs to my tiny Saxon contingent. I was going to go for some artillery bits but couldn't figure out which of the 3 crew types is appropriate for 1812 Russia....

FYI -- £20 minimum order. Not hard to get to that though...

Yep.

Do you have a timetable for what's next, Kawe ? I know the Saxon dragoons and lancers are due for release soon, but what about the next releases after them ? Given that the range is beginning to cover most of the basic troop types, I would expect Saxon mounted infantry officers and high command to follow.

Two generals (one divisional commander and one brigadier) along with two ADC's would suit my needs just fine...  ;)

Hi Arthur,

You're a clever person!

I'd like the same info and figures too but being greedy I'd some some artillery train outriders and some heavy cavalry as well.

I'm currently painting my 4th battalion of foot but it's so hot here that the paint is drying on the brush!

No I don't have acclimatisation (airconditioning to non French chaps) but it's 84F in my den so painting halted for the moment and prepping those fabulous 4 pounders instead.

Cheers,

Paul

Ah, the joys of living in a French region with a continental climate  lol

Mind you, I'm 500 kms up north from you and it's even hotter over here with a temperature of around 96°F at the end of the day. I was on hols in the Landes last week and the heat was nothing like this, even though the temperatures were roughly similar. As Cole Porter used to say, I love Paris (err, well... almost) in the summer when it sizzles.

Haha - you're not too far off! I have to admit that I was a little too busy with building and establishing the new fantasy branch of Westfalia, but I am back to Naps in full force. We have a mountain of dollies ready to cover the remaining cavalry formations, specialists, and yes - mounted majors and that darn high command. That, and we have a full range of Talavera badener and Hanseats lying around - they  just need to get molded at some point.
westfaliaminiatures.com - proper stuff in 28mm

Looking forward to both the Badeners and the Hanseatic troops!
