Well, I've started the painting proper and the wall 'panels' are done but I'm masking them out so I can spray the timber (this is the quickest way of doing it really).

You can see the first four panels have has the masking tape cut and stuck in place,it shouldn't take too long to do the rest.

And here's the finished result after masking, spraying and drybrushing. I've also added the joist peg holes for that extra level of detail. I'll take some better photos once the roof is done and the windows need blanking out on the rear of them.

That is looking lovely, mate, but I still cannot see how you are going to fit it into Mos Eisley.

Thanks chaps  :)

Got the first building done (apart from doors, shutters and window blanks) and so I'll move onto the 'compound' walls next and then onto the big building.

There will be more weathering once the buildings are stuck in place and there will also be bit and bobs like barrels, washing lines etc. All those god things that'll make it looked lived in  :)

Mos Essling, perhaps...?

Nah, it'll be Mos Vegas  ;)

cheers

Now I've had my little bit of Star Wars fun it's back to some more serious work  :)

The smaller building is complete now and stuck on it's base and I've got the courtyard walls down along with the larger building and stables roughed out.

The stables will either be brick or stone and there will also be a timbered framed bit on the side where you can see the scribbling. Haven't fully decided on the roof yet but I think there'll be a few dormers. Only the courtyard walls and existing building are stuck for now as it's easier to work on the buildings when they are loose.

More to follow soon  :)
