Yep those are nice, or the wolves from Westwind.

Blue Moon also do a box of wolves in their gothic horror range. I don't think they are quite as nice as the Ral Partha ones, but would be ok for filling out a pack.

£15 for the set.

EDIT:

Mega Miniatures also do a pack if you don't mind ordering from the States:

They are a bit goofy looking though.  :)

The Partha ones are very nicely sculpted, but a bit diminutive for modern tastes. OTOH, they are actually "in scale" with 28mm humans, rather than those grotesque hormone-swollen plastic monstrosities from GW.

We picked up some plastic D&D ones to bulk out our packs, you occasionally get singles on ebay.

There are bears and cougars too, and giant bats.

Apologies for threadomancy.

Really like those tree trunks. Are they scratch built?

Well, I should have thought of Mega Minis...   ::)

The Blue Moon ones I had a look at, but I decided to go for the more realistic Ral Partha wolves, as i have an old set of 4 Grenadier Fantasy Legends wolves that I wanted to use with them.

I know you've already chosen, but some people might like Vendel's wolves.

Tom Meier has sculpted some wolves as well.
Waiter, my soup is giggling.

I sort of like the Mega Minis wolves. They look more like wolves, less like fanged, drooling monstrosities, than other ranges.

No, they are from Snapdragon/Moondragon. resin tree trunks, drilled out and a K&M tree added. They come in different sizes and he sells them by the pack.

Nothing wrong with fanged, drooling monstrosities for VGH - I like cartoony models for this genre - I just wanted somthing that matched the nice Julie Guthrie sculpts from Grenadier  ;)
