Slaughterloo - I must be barking mad!
« on: 27 August 2016, 07:27:19 AM »
I wasn't really sure where to post this so if this is the wrong place please move it.  :)

I have just about finished my Slaughterloo Dog army.   This is my smallest of three armies but also the one that needed the most work to get it to a playable state.

Just a few more flags to be added, and maybe a few more grass tufts here and there but other then that I'm calling this army finished.

Next up is my French and Allies, which is my biggest Slaughterloo army and then I will move on to my Russians.
I have a fair few of my French done, they just need basing, flags and a big of a tidy up.   I think I have 7 units left to paint for that army.

My goal is to get them finished by the end of the year, and if I manage that I will reward myself with some additional Russian units to bolster that army.

Integrity is non negotiable

I will arrange done close ups as soon as possible.
In the mean time here is the task ahead

All are large 28mm.  Probably nearer 35mm if I'm honest.

Some close-up pictures.   Nothing special just simple cartoony style painting to compliment the cartoony figures.   Not my best work by far but I'm happy with them and feel this style suits them.

Absolutely brilliant. Tempted enough to check out Alternative Armies' website, just to browse...

Bow Wow!

They look Barking.

Well done and Good Boy.

Tony

I don't have that many Dog soldiers, but this has inspired me to paint up the couple of figures and one box set that I have in the shed - I also like the cartooney style.

Looking to smash out a largish game in a couple of weeks.  Will try to get some pictures.
