Excellent work.   

Not sure about the eyes though.  If you look at painters' that "don't do eyes" they seem to use a much thinner line.

Only a minor point though.

You are quite right  I'm still experimenting with different ways... It's the first time I decided just to black line them and will try to adjust it a bit with the next batch

They are small, but very beautifully sculpted caricatures - some of Paul's finest work I think.
You have done a really splendid job with them. Makes me want to get a few more out of the lead pile and paint some more right now!
