Lord and Lady McDeath
« on: 05 September 2016, 08:23:01 PM »
I know, I know, another Oldhammery job, but for some reason I seem to be getting loads of them lately. And when you think of Oldhammer classic models, surely the McDeath collection must be on everyone's list.

I've taken the colours from the illustration and where they're slightly indistinct I've just guessed. Likewise, since we never see one in the written material, the shield is just a simplified version of McDeath's banner.

Lovely! Particularly like the pattern on Lady McDeath's dress.

Marvellous  :-* :-* :-*

Not just giving this old stuff a new lease of life but far surpassing any of the originals. What with Stone Cold and yourself churning these out with such superlative work I am having to re-assess my appraisal of the sculpts

She's got a touch of the Ron Pearlman about her hasn't she? No, not blessed with great beauty .... but on the plus side she does a good Hellboy impression.

Nah, just a dark inky wash, a thin brush and time; it's just random wiggly lines to fill the space. Much the same as the 'runes' on Lord McDeath's sword.
