As always truly stunning  :o :o :o
The flamethrower pic is fantastic.  I would say that it was worth the wait to get these pictures of this campaign but I do not want to inhibit you from posting more.
So...can we have some more Sir?

Excellent!

Is Ignatieff raising his standards??? How it can possibly be done?

Yes the flamethrower picture is really good. I also like the HMG (what make?)

Ignatieff you spoil us!
Where are the rest pics?????
The Turkmenis you promised, the caviar loads etc etc

Just a question: I see a French flag. Under it some Aussies-like figures and a yellow truck with German inscription. What is it?" The United Nations of the time??

Kind words all, but the genius is in the photo work for which I can take no credit.

Argsilverson as always, eagle-eyed and perceptive!  Our French player couldnt make it, so we were sans plombe Francais.  It was therefore a case of 'adapt, improvise and overcome'.  The officer (Draylon) is an HLBS Austrian (in a kepi of sorts) and the troops Italian Alpini.  The lorry was obviously 'liberated' at some point along the way.

Draylon led a truely heroic defence of Camp Josephine after Enver Pasha had trecherously broken an agreed truce.  In the end the perfidious Adrianstani dictator had to commit over 50 figures to wipe out the 11 French defending the compound, who took over 30 Adrianstani's down with them.  Three French out of the 11 escaped, but sadly not Draylon, who, seriously wounded, was spirited away by Enver Pasha to unknown horrors.  Count Smirnoff, the French CinC, has vowed revenge!

More later...............

p.s. HMG is Great War Miniatures

Now it is time to use the Copplestone's Caucasian Cossack cavalry in French service.
Actually they had some units deplyed in the nearby area (in fact it was Syria and I think that they call them Circassian cavalry, officered by french, of course!) Initially they were horse mounted, later they receive some armour.
Usually they wore a khaki dress (french colour). the area with those cartridges was black and the cartridges were silver edged. Green arms colour and carried a small greem fanion.
I had some drawing in my earlier computer, but I cannot locate it now neither the link. If you are interested, I would try to re-find it and PM you.

Thanks, actually the question was for the HMG and the models. Is that a Maxim HMG? OK I can find it from GWM!

To gainsay the esteemed Ignatieff is the last thing I desire, yet I feel I must point out that the HMG in question (if indeed it be the one on the roof in the picture with the flame-thrower that we are talking about) is actually produced by Renegade Miniatures. The GWM one has the crew kneeling, whereas these are lying down.

Argsilverson, it is the Maschinengewehr 08, the standard German HMG of the Great War. Everyone calls them Maxim guns because they were a very near copy of the British Maxim, but they weren't actually made by Maxim/Vickers and the rotters never paid any royalties on them, neither.
