I haven't painted anything since late 2012, so I'm hoping to change that.
Back from the dead, almost.

It's still three months until 2017... I can't plan that far ahead  :)

Also, there is another big house move coming up, probably December or January, this always messes things up. It may change my hobby situation a bit, although I'm still not quite sure in which way. Considering that I haven't had a game for a couple of months, my main plan for 2017 will be to play more games!

I've been painting 28mm SF, fantasy and zombie post apoc for a while. I'm fairly happy with the subject matter, so I suspect 2017 will see a continuation of those themes.

I (finally) painted up some of the 6mm Tyranids that I bought in 1997, so plan to do more of them, and expand my general 6mm SF stuff a bit more as well.

I bought some figures for a 10mm fantasy dungeon crawl project, so need to start them.

I've also picked up some GZG spaceships (and a few Star Wars Armada vessels), so plan to get them painted up.

Scenery needs to be fitted into that list somehow, as well as the many "squirrel" projects that appear during the year. I usually make a more detailed plan towards the end of the year, so it'll be interesting to see what that looks like.

I think I've played a couple of games this year. Every year I make an "I'll play at least a game a month" resolution, and every year it fails miserably. Maybe 2017 will be the year of actually playing something ???

Dalek civil war using the iDaleks from the DWA magazine.

Get my Grenadier Cthulhu figures & Innsmouth residents painted.

Get my Hellboy & Batman & other Clix figures painted.

I hope to complete a Confederate force in 28mm, to match my Union force. Also to investigate the practicality of using a webcam for each sides C in C to view the gaming table, thereby aking away the 'all seeing eye' from the gaming table.

By the way mrtn above mentioned trenches, here is my range available in resin, bath painted and unpainted; http://tunniesterrain.co.uk/product-category/trenches/

1. Sell as much unwanted tata as possible and reinvest in more 20mm scenery and equipment needed for scenario's
2. Focus on combining painting Infantry units with painting for scenarios so non-20mm friends can come over and play.
3. Only do the occasional 3mm and 28mm thing.

My plans are kinda/sorta:

-Finish my 40K Eldar retro army.
-Begin genuine work on my next game design project, a dungeon crawl I've been delaying for 13 years.
-Play more games and attend more cons.
-Acquire and paint a dozen or so mounted Old West figures and finish re-basing/re-painting my Old West collection.

Well I still have a hand full of weeks left in 2016, so will lump them into 2017.

Currently working on 4000 Points of All Quiet on the Martian Front. Will probably add another 2000 points to that.
Start building terrain for AQMF, everything I have is 28mm or 6mm.
Finish my Vikings for Lion /Dragon Rampant
Add to the Frostgrave collection.
Add a few more Germans to my Bolt Action Collection.
Start on a new Bolt action army, Looks like Chindits will be next.
There will be Pirates here shortly, I backed the Blood and Plunder Kickstarter.
One of guys I play with is doing Kings of War on 10mm so will probably join in that.
Finish painting up some additional figures and terrain for Dead Mans hand.
I have started collecting Steam Punk and Post Apocalyptic, but have no hard direction on that yet.
I have a bunch of 6mm ww2 stuff, its the only stuff I have that I have not painted enough to play a game with yet, would like to knock a bit more of that out.

-->> All subject to change based on how my interests change this month. See my thread on how many projects at a time! http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=94474.0<<--

Back to my dungeon with paint brush in hand!

Plan for 2017: don't plan anything.

Haven't thought about it too much. Not really sure. Paint alot more 15mm stuff. I still have hundreds of ancient, medieval, & fantasy figures in my lead mountain. Finish up my Maximillian figures from Gringo40's and maybe order some of his new cavalry figures. Order & paint some more NWF tribesmen. Order & paint more Mahdists. Order & paint more Boxers. Paint up more of my 28mm lead pile too.
