At Crisis in Antwerp this year our club are presenting a 15mm fantasy game set in the north of Tolkiens Middle Earth. The game is a battle between orcs on one side and men and dwarves on the other.
Our game is on table g03b01 in Hall 1 - http://www.tsoa.be/files/Hall%201%20A3%20Krommen.jpg

This is the background fluff to the game:-

The battle of Northbridge in the great war with Angmar.
Background.
Northbridge is a town that was founded by the Éothéod peoples near to the southern entrance of the dwarven realm of Norgerond. It lies on the south bank of the Forest River between the Greenwood (Mirkwood) and the Grey Mountains.
The town flourished as a trading center with the dwarves of Norgerond and the elves of Thranduils woodland realm along the Forest River to the southeast.
A great market is held in autumn when the nomadic Alarith tribe from the Northern Wastes passes south with their herds before the winter and again as the tribe returns to the north in spring.
In the last years the peace in the north has shook by the growing power of the Witchking of Angmar. Raids on Rhovanion are common place the and the dwarves of the Grey Mountains are being steadily pushed back east by orcs from Mount Gundabad.
Third Age.1966
The morning of the battle.

The Alarith tribe are camped on the river bank with their herds and the market in Northbridge in in full swing.
A surprise attack by orcs have pushed the last of the dwarves out of the gates of Norgerond and the dwarves are running for Northbridge followed by the orcs.
Can the men of Northbridge, the Alarith and the dwarves stop the orcs?

Here are a couple of photos from the test game and/or my figures being used in the game.

A few more photos of miniatures and terrain in the game.

The gates of Norgerond
TA.1966
With the power of the Witchking of Angmar behind them, orcs from Mount Gundabad drive dwarves out of their ancestral home of Norgerond in the Grey Mountains.

Warg riders hunt bison from the herds of the nomadic Alarith tribe. The northerners wont let that go unpunished.

Great!
I will probably run two games during the day. One at 10am and another around 2pm.  I will keep it relaxed so people can just join in in the middle and run a unit for a while if they dont want to play for too long.
Dragon Rampant is also fast to learn for those who have not played.

You're right. They are from the Atlantic/Nexus Buffalo Bill set. They are meant to be 1/72 scale but they are so small that they are good for 15mm.
