Monstro
« on: 10 February 2009, 04:43:55 AM »
So I have decided to create a new team of villains. The bizarro-world's equivalent of The Avengers. I call them The Revengers.

Here's the first, Monstro, the Revenger's eqivalent of Giant Man. A big brick of a villain, who can take A LOT of punishment.

The picture is a bit blurry. I will try to post another one when I get a chance to reshoot. It's a combination of a D&D Minis flesh golem and a zombie Giant Man bottom, with a minor repaint.

Mr. Invisible, one of my regulars, is pictured with him. He a standard-sized Heroclix.
The only thing better than gaming... is more gaming!

Super Force Seven: Once upon a time, the Earth needed to be saved on a daily basis.

Nice!

I'm probably being incredibly foolish, but what is the Mr Invisible based on? I've been looking for a fig in that sort of coat for a while in the hopes of being able to do a Nextwave squad...

That looks like the Heroclix Multiple Man he has used for Mister Invisible.

The great things about Heroclix (Horrorclix, D&D Minis, Star Wars Minis, etc.)  are

There are lots of them, probably over 1000 unique character poses; the plastic is easy to cut, chop, and glue; and you can get a bucket of them from ebay for next to nothing.

I can never seem to find bundles of them on ebay, it always seems to be singles for tournament prices...

Back on topic, when will we be seeing more villains?

Trying searching for Heroclix Lots.  You should find people selling groups of them there.  Maybe a local comic shop.
