Pickett's Charge Arrives
« on: 29 October 2016, 09:44:09 AM »
Not at Gettysburg, but on Lard Island and is now available via the TooFatLardies web store.  There's the choice of hard copy or PDF available.

Pickett's Charge is the latest set of rules from Dave Brown, possibly one of the greatest standard bearers for the Big Battalions games, and this is very much "Dave, the Next Generation", with a great new command and control system which is easy to learn, fun to play but always challenging to the point where it can never be entirely mastered.  The rules are really streamlined and provide a fun and exciting game.  Even I, devotee of small unit games at platoon and company level, found myself feeling the twinges of megalomania as I sent forward my Brigades.

Here's a link to the Reisswitz Press page on our web site:      http://toofatlardies.co.uk/product-category/reisswitz-press/

And some gratuitous snaps of a game in play, made all the better by the fact that I spanked my chum and colleague Fat Nick soundly.  Whoops!  He asked me not to mention that....

And a snap of the cover, with artwork by the unsurpassable Don Troiani.
