Forgeworld Resin earthworks completed
« on: 08 November 2016, 10:03:35 AM »
Hello Gentlemen, a couple of years ago, I decided to acquire a product from Games Workshop's Forgeworld, for my modular tabletop, the resin Earthworks.  I was kind of intimidated by its size, so It layed around until this month... So I painted it with a large brush, airbrush, drybrush, pigments etc etc, Inspired partially by the fabulous terrain pieces shown in the League of Augsburg's Blog :)
so, here is the result. I think its quite versatile, so I can use it with my late XVII century miniatures, and also warhammer fantasy Empire or Thirty years war.

Here with some classic WH Imperials

And my Late Imperial Spaniards !

Wow, very well painted.
And very useful for at least two of your figure collections.
Make good use of it!

I think it looks lovely.  Are you going to use it with other gaming tiles or will you be modeling a blend for the tile onto a normal table?  I think the tile sits 3/4" tall or so --- going to just blend it into a table?

Very impressive painting.  I love the different shades in the wooden boards. The figures are none too shabby either.  lol lol

Many thanks! I have the other Citadel tiles from their Realm of battle terrain board, quite good :) and this special tile is fully compatible. Sadly it is no more available

Cheers!
