28mm "Princess Bride" Figure Review
« on: November 10, 2016, 05:27:52 PM »

http://yarkshiregamer.blogspot.co.uk/2016/11/28mm-princess-bride-style-miniatures.html

Drifting off onto the weird stuff again....

I just couldn't resist these wonderful figures from Antediluvian Figures they are beautiful, as good in the flesh as they are on the manufacturer's website.

Princess Bride is without doubt one of the best films ever, you either get PB or you don't. Just say "Princess Bride" to a stranger if their face lights with recognition you have a friend for life and you will proceed to bore all those around you with numerous film quotes.

Pics of each figure and link to the manufacturer on t'blog.

Regards Ken

Yesss!!! PB taught me true love is the greatest thing in the world! Except for a nice MLT – mutton, lettuce and tomato sandwich, where the mutton is nice and lean and the tomato is ripe. They’re so perky, I love that.  ;)

All that is needed now is a set of rules that allows you to recreate one of the the best swordfights in film history!

And of course a man with 6 fingers.

The miniature look SPLENDID, although not necessarily true to the movie characters; AND they coincide with what I am reading.

Huh? I perfectly recognize the movie characters (from left to right) Inigo, Fezzik, Vizzini and Westley - and that was 30 years ago!
