Author Topic: Any Suggestions For A Crew Of 15mm Asteroid/Space Miners? (Read 1438 times)

I feel like I've have been looking and planning for too long, and though I sometimes find the occasional single figure** that could pass for a miner, I have yet to find anything that even remotely resembles a full working crew of miners. Most of what I've seen (like the Prang from 15mm.co.uk or the diminutive Sons of Thunder from Rebel Minis) would require massive conversion work, turning rifles into drills and other heavy equipment:

Even if I were to generously stretch the parameters to include alien species, mutants and/or the genetically engineered, these are still the only candidates I can come up with:

Personally I think the Squamata are ideal - love them.
And as they come with guns as well, they have the chance to lead an armed insurrection if they don't get a decent pay deal!

Right now the squamata are the only group that seems to have potential as an actual team of sorts. I might sprinkle in the occasional non-"union" type into the mix, just for flavor.

Or, instead of being fellow miners, the humans might be the overseers. They better not provoke "an armed insurrection" like you said, or they'd be toast.
