Abrams, Challenger or Chieftain in 28mm scale
« on: December 08, 2016, 09:38:03 AM »
I might be missing the obvious, but do these exist in 28mm? I only need one - preferably the Abrams - but at a pinch any of the three (or even a T-72) could do.
Thanks.

For general British and US stuff also check out Airfix' and HLBS' 1/48th scale ranges.

Will take a look - this might have been just what I was referring to when I said 'missing the obvious'!
Thanks  :D

One Challenger incoming  :D
Thanks guys, that was quick and painless (well, barring the wallet, but that's planned-for pain).

Chieftain Models made beautiful 1:56 Chieftains, Centurions and T-72's. I'm sure somebody bought the molds but don't know who. Perhaps it was Sloppy Jalopy. Does anyone know if they will ever be back in production?

See the sticky on 28mm modern vehicles:

The only thing to add is that Blitzkrieg Miniatures have a Chieftain in 1/56 listed as "coming soon".

A couple of years ago there was a 1/56 scale remote control Abrams that was floating around on Ebay in the $25-30 range. Detail wasn't bad, friend of mine had a couple that he had added stowage to and given a wash.

Cory,
It's the hobbymaster abrams, was available both as RC and regular diecast, i'd suggest to anyone spotting one to buy it, pretty rare nowadays.
