Fireball Forward 2nd edition query
« on: 10 December 2016, 06:26:15 PM »
I'm just wondering whether anyone - anyone at all - has any information on this, beyond, " Fireball Forward is an innovative rules set for re-creating company-scale engagements in WWII using tabletop miniatures of any scale", which is precisely what was said about the first edition, (Which I own, but haven't played).  I understand from reviews of the first edition that the system is a good one, containing features of both Crossfire and Squad Leader, but am principally interested in differences between the first and second editions. Unfortunately The publisher's website - cunningly titled http://fireballforward.com - is not very helpful, particularly as it seems to have been last updated in 2013.

I've played FF quite a bit over the past year and really enjoy it, I played and picked up 2nd edition at Historicon this past Summer, and honestly there is not a ton of changes from the 1st edition.

It is a handful of minor rule changes, does not change the overall feel of the first edition at all.

Also, if you are active on the FF yahoo group, I believe there is someone with a detailed errata/changelog that if you asked would send over.

Thanks for the response. I'm not a member of the group, but it looks like I should be, assuming it's better supported than the website.
