That was awesome...toe-tapping good fun. My youngest son was watching it when I opened it up. He loves Lego and he loves Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Thanks for sharing.

There's a slightly shorter version of this on the collector's edition DVD of Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Well worth a watch:)

Thanks Argonor! I love these Lego animations and really enjoyed this one.

One of my favourites is Rammstein's "Feuer Frei" - absolutely hilarious and if you've ever seen them live, you'll know it's spot-on  :D

Watch both the lego and original together in youtube you'll really appreciate the effort that went into the lego animation it's spot on.

The Holy Grail animation was produced by Spite Your Face, of Lego zombie animation fame (well worth a look - www.spiteyourface.com)

Apparently, to make the Python animation, they got to go to some secret Lego Vault containing every type of Lego ever produced, including some that were never released to the public... My inner child is too jealous...

I'd seen the Holy Grail animation before on the DVD, but I didn't realise that there were more by the same people. I just had a look at their website and I liked their condensed interpretation of 201: A Space Odyssey, but the the biggest smile was raised by Episode V 1/2 of Star Wars.
