Christmas Ornaments
« on: 19 December 2016, 10:56:37 PM »
Between work and school I have not had much time to paint. A few days ago I would looking mournfully at our tree full of "conventional" ornaments, and decided to make some quick ones. These were some robots and spaceships I got in bulk off amazon, I understand they used to be sold in vending machines. As this was a impulse paint job I just applied thinned down black paint to the plastic, painted some details, then gave it another wash and some simple highlights. I think they turned out pretty good for quickie job. This winter break I will see if I can get a few more of these fellas painted up.

Cool idea. They look good.
