The REAL Pulp Girl...!?

Yeah, yeah, its the Daily Mail so all "journalistic" content should be treated sceptically.

Personally I'd never heard of Aloha Wanderwell, but these are some damn fine photos and provide excellent inspiration.

Enjoy!

Definitely. Wanderwell expeditions.were big news. They were overshadowed by the love of aviators' and they're exploits.
But for pulp sculpts cars are a damned sight easier to produce and use.

She's on the sculpt list (and cars) for 2017.

For the clickalinkaphobic:

This has to be my favourite, although the one of Aloha and her husband lining up with the Bolsheviks (I think) is pretty damn cool too.

There's also a website with more info and pictures:

Personally I love the sponsorship adverts plastered every where and even the improbable ford chassis advertisement.
I was originally intending on scratch building three vehicles as the livery's would be a challenge for the old brushes.
As id done for explorers of similar vain such as  R. Edison Fulton jnr.But her cars are just quirky not to .

Truth is stranger than fiction it seems. Even her assumed name has a contemporary sounding irony to it, amazing really.
