Some painted fellows El Flawrence and some Imperial Germans
« on: December 25, 2016, 02:04:23 AM »
Hi again, just a few figures I did awhile ago for my friend Herb.
He was going to use them in a pseudo pulp WW1 skirmish game and wanted characters that stood out, a modified Lawrence to be El Flawrence,
and some tough Imperial German vets

Paint on!

The head dress as everyone's mentioned, However (for me) it detracts from the more subtle and skilled brush work of the eyes. Not an easy task to emote a figure by painting the eyes looking to a side and up,even more so when you take into account the undercut of the headdress and that of the helmets.
No criticism just a wish to acknowledge the thought and effort involved.
