[Late to the game] Hammer's Slammers

I've seen models from this game before, but this morning I stumbled over this site and decided to give it a try.

So I headed over to http://www.oldcrowmodels.co.uk/ocproducts.htm and ordered some Gecko vehicles and other stuff.  :mrgreen:

Any opinions on this game/models?

I haven't played the game, but Old Crow have the most beeeeyoootiful vehicles in the world.

In 2003, I painted some models from the old GZG Slammers range... but the OC models are far, far superior.

The books are cool, if a bit dreary reading. Military SF by a lawyer who went to Vietnam and didn´t go crazy. Go figure.

Mind you, I´ve got a subscription to his newsletter and had the first books imported by my FLBS, so don´t think I´d diss the Drakeman.

I've got quite a few of the 25mm vehicles from OLD CROW...not the hammers slammers line but the others....

Fantastic models...Haven't painted any yet, but the casting are almost perfect.  Very few air bubbles etc.

Really good stuff.
