Cheap source of Evergreen corrugated styrene sheets?

I want to get some of the sheet styrene which looks like corrugated metal, such as the Evergreen 4526, 4527, etc.

Unfortunately it's $10 a 12" x 6" sheet here. I've spotted some sellers on ebay, but after currency conversion and shipping, it comes out to a little more.

Anyone have any alternate suggestions? I need a fair bit of the stuff, probably at least 3 of those 12" x 6" sheets or much better yet, one of the 12" x 24" sheets (which I haven't seen available locally).

I bought a scrapbook crimper tool for a large project that was going to take too much plastic.

It isn't perfect, but if you run some decent cardstock through it, works out pretty well (I used cereal boxes).  A lot cheaper than all the plasticard that I was going to need.  Just takes a little getting used to, and the size isn't very large.  About 7" if I recall correctly.

I use one of those crimpers, too. Material varies  - card stock, heavy craft paper, disposable heavy aluminum trays. Much cheaper than styrene...

I suspect those have much larger corrugation than the fine ones in the styrene sheets. Also I need to use plastic for the strength and malleability (it's for aircraft, not buildings).

makes sense- these are great for roofing/siding, but for a/c, not so much.

Yeah, if I were just making some lean-tos or whatever, cardboard would have been fine.

I was going to suggest the same tool.  If the corrugation is the right scale then all you need is a stronger material.  I used self adhesive metal ducting tape on paper.  Did a toot a long time ago.    http://snitchythedog.blogspot.co.uk/2011/12/corrugated-metal.html  Since the surface is metal it is plenty strong.  Here is an example:

Alternatively you might be able to use the same ducting tape on paper and press it between two evergreen sheets to make the smaller corrugation.

Well, it's the fine corrugations, I need - we're talking 1mm spacing. Luckily a kindly soul had some going spare so I should be able to get that in a while!
