Last for the year? (Lizardmen)
« on: 28 December 2016, 05:50:53 PM »
Maybe the last thing I paint this year, not sure, still a few days to go.  Some Lizardmen Tyrants I had sitting in a box (Reaper).  Note how big they are compared to the normal guy!

Time to restart a dungeon thread I guess (my old one broke with a bad photobucket account)

Thanks guys.  A little prep, a spray of Necrotic Flesh army painter...some details...dip...finish the bases.  Cheat!  It works!  :`

They look great!
That colour scheme works wonders.

I am really going to have to try and master the dipping technique as you are getting tremendous results really quickly.
It could well be the answer to me never finishing anything figures-wise.

I think, for people who either A) can't paint (me), or B) want to turn out a lot of basic units...it's a winning strategy.  Nothing I dip will win any awards, but it adds a lot of depth to a super simple paintjob, allowing me to crank out models pretty quick - to a standard I'm happy with.  It gives me a finished product I'm not ashamed to put on a table, but I know it won't be the talk of the shop.  lol

I think, if you're a solid painter, there's nothing here for you unless you want to churn out basic infantry types or something.

Thanks, Scurv.  One of these days...if Palladium ever actually ships the product I bought, I might even do a Robotech project.  Until then, Kevin Siembeda can suck hairy orbs.
